Electric bike delivery from OnBike is a personal service, whenever possible.
What does this mean?
Ready to Ride v Boxed – The Benefits
Unlike many other retailers, your electric bike will not be packed in a cardboard box but will instead arrive personally delivered to your door, ready to ride.
This means no assembly whatsoever on your part. We charge a small fee for this service but we think it’s worth every penny.
Why do we favour Ready to Ride?
If you’re a seasoned bike mechanic, you’ll probably find that assembling an electric bike is quite straightforward. However, if you’re not, then what about truing the gears, or curing that annoying rattle that’s really hard to pinpoint? Also, damage can occur in transit from the manufacturer; a broken battery lock perhaps, or another component on the bike that’s beyond repair – here at OnBike we’ve seen it all!
We’re not phased by any of these potential problems as we can rectify them all, but you may find it more challenging!
So in conclusion, there’s a lot more to assembly than you may think!
Furthermore, we build all of our electric bikes to the very highest standards in our workshop prior to dispatch and fully test them. That’s peace of mind for you.

Electric Bike Delivery FAQs
What does ready to ride mean?
- Bike is built to British Standards
- Handlebar & stem are set appropriately
- Saddle pitch is set on the seatpost
- Battery has full charge
- Battery removal (if applicable) & re-insertion is checked
- Latest software updates are applied to the bike
- Suspension setup, front and rear (if applicable)
- Tyre inflation within manufacturer guidelines
- Pedals fitted
- Full visual inspection is undertaken by ourselves
- Full operational inspection and test ride is also undertaken by ourselves
When can I expect to take delivery of my new ebike?
Following an order submission, you will recieve phone call within 48 hours to discuss a suitable delivery date and time to suit you.
Is delivery free?
Unfortunately not, we charge £100 for this premium service.
We made the decision to offer a more reliable, safe and personal service by delivering bikes that are ready to ride. In light of this, we do pass on to the customer a modest charge for this service.

We only ship to mainland UK!

Consumer Rights
- Under the The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel distance and off-premises contracts within 14 days without giving a reason.
- The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the date on which you acquire physical possession of the goods.
- To exercise the right to cancel, please inform us in writing by contacting OnBike Ltd, 52-53 Upper Tything, Worcester, Worcestershire WR1 1JY. Alternatively, email info@onbike.co.uk of your decision to cancel the contract by a clear statement.
- Please note that if you wish to exercise your right to return goods under these provisions items must be NEW and UNUSED in order to receive a full refund. Any bikes that do not meet this criteria will be considered on a case-by-case basis and a restocking fee may apply at our discretion.
Special Orders
- Sales of items specially ordered, including specially ordered sizes, or customised to customers requirements are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Cost of returns
- Customers are responsible for any charges relating to the return of a bike. If we are asked to arrange collection of a bike, the delivery charge will be deducted from any refund we make.
