On the front of the Stereo Hybrid ONE44 EX 800 is a cool set of RockShox Psylo Silver RC Air forks with 140mm travel. These superbly strong and robust forks are a match for any rough terrain. In addition, they’re silky smooth and have a lockout option. A RockShox Deluxe Select R rear shock provides the perfect balance and keeps the EX 800 where it needs to be. It has adjustable rebound and provides more than ample control over the most demanding bumps and hollows.

Gearing is via a top notch Shimano XT RD-M8100-SGS, ShadowPlus, 12-Speed complementing perfectly the hugely wide ranging cassette, a Shimano Deore 10-50T. Shimano Deore Rapid Fire shifters ensure clean and precise indexing, which is both effortless and responsive.

The winning combination of Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.60″ tyres on both front and rear keep the EX 800 on the straight and narrow. Stopping power is immense thanks to a fine set of Shimano BR-MT520 4-piston hydraulics, front and rear on 203mm rotors.

Bosch’s Purion 200 colour display provides the rider with access to all the necessary metrics and button cluster for changing levels of assist.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?
