Gazelle Connect

The Eclipse C380 is known as a ‘Connect’ bike from Gazelle. It has a built-in GPS tracking module.

With Gazelle Connect, you always know where your eBike is. Thanks to its built in GPS module, you receive a notification through the Gazelle Connect app on your smartphone if your eBike unexpectedly starts moving. To deter theft the bike is marked ‘GPS-PROTECTED’ clearly on the frame.

The location of your eBike is displayed on a map in the app, making it easy to find. You can also easily activate the theft protection through the app, which warns you when your e-bike unexpectedly starts moving.

For the app to function, in addition to insurance, a data connection is required. When purchasing a ‘Connect’ bike, this is included as standard for the duration. Afterwards, you will receive a notification in the app to renew the data connection. For 12 months of data connection, you pay a fixed amount of only £35. It’s a small price to pay for peace of mind!

Enviolo 380 stepless gear system

Simple to use and intuitive. That’s the beauty of a seamless hub.

Both clean and smooth in operation, there’s no chance of slipping gears with the Enviolo. It’s maintenance free and ultra quiet thanks to its Gates CDX carbon belt drive.

The particularly powerful assistance and ease of shifting are barely visible. This is because the impressive 85Nm motor, the battery and the innovative power transmission are fitted subtly into the frame. You shift smoothly through the gears using the right-hand grip while pedalling at the same time. It is completely stepless: from getting away rapidly from the traffic lights to getting a move on in top gear.

You’ll always be in the right gear as well as changing gears without having to stop cycling thanks to the Enviolo hub. No hill is too steep because you have continuously variable gears and don’t have to stop pedalling to change gears. It’s super easy to use!

A luxurious ride

Wide tyres, a suspension front fork and a Selle Royal Essenza Plus, Royalgel comfortable saddle with a suspension seat post absorb any bumps for you, even at high speeds.

This simple yet elegant design delivers superb performance and comfort at the same time. Gazelle uses a Suntour Mobie25 air fork with lockout to absorb all those nasty little bumps and hollows. At the same time, a nice set of 27.5″ Schwalbe Marathon Efficiency puncture resistant tyres further add to the enjoyment and ease of riding. The centre-mounted Bosch design ensures a lower centre of gravity, resulting in a stable and reliable ride every time. Bosch’s Performance CX motor is gutsy and delivers at a peak of 85Nm. This provides the bike with immense hill climbing ability.

Bosch’s Kiox 300 display mounts centrally on the bars and provides all rider information, clearly and concisely.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?
