Powerful 85Nm Bosch Performance CX Motor

Powered by Bosch’s most powerful high torque motor, the Performance CX peaks at a solid 85Nm. In addition, the Trekking 6.5 features a long range 600Wh battery, more than enough for daily adventures. Furthermore, an optional 250Wh Range Extender means even more fun and adventures along the way. With a maximum load capacity of 150kg, the Trekking 6.5 will carry all those bare necessities and more. On the front is a set of Suntour Mobie 34 100mm air forks. They cope with pretty much everything that’s thrown at them, ensuring a comfortable ride at all times.

Thanks to a set of ultra grip 27.5″ Continental Ruban tyres, the rider is always in control. These gritty performers are set on Schurmann Yak25 rims and provide a strong and resilient base.

A Shimano 10-Speed CUES derailleur is super-sweet and goes nicely with a set of Rapid Fire Plus click triggers. In addition, the HAIBIKE Trekking 6.50 boasts a very wide range cassette for immense hill climbing ability. Shimano Deore BR-MT410 hydraulic disc breaks set on 180/180 rotors effect impressive and efficient braking.

Bosch’s Smart System Intuvia display sits centrally on the bars and provides all necessary rider information.

The icing on the cake is the inclusion of a Limotec dropper post with internal cable routing. A simple lever on the handlebar activates the dropper for easy adjustment on the fly.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
