Like their full suspension counterpart, specifications vary as do prices. Forks can be coil or air, with air being the superior. When choosing, it’s worth looking at the overall specification. Forks come in a wide variety of options and quality as do brakes. It’s worth checking out. For many people, the spec isn’t the be all and end all. There’s some fabulous eMTBs out there that offer real value for money and won’t break the bank.
Wheel Size
Wheel size is down to personal preference. The two main options are 27.5″ and 29″. The former facilitates a more agile ride, and the latter provides greater forward momentum.
