The Moustache Dimanche 28 Road 4 is a top of the range, powerful road eBike that is staggeringly light!

Perfect for tarmac and general road riding, the Road 4 has a plethora of high end components! At its heart is the new, light and powerful SX 55Nm motor from Bosch. Total bike weight is supremely light for an eBike, weighing in at a mere 16.7kg (without pedals).

Pedal faster, pick up speed even faster: The Performance Line SX works at least as hard as you do. It has a reduced pedal resistance of more than 50 percent compared to the Performance Line CX, a narrower design of the cranks and an almost silent motor.

At around just 2kg, the Performance Line SX is Bosch’s lightest drive with the highest power density. Likewise, it reduces the total weight of your eBike, delivers greater agility and is ideal for fans of a sporty riding style. In addition, the compact drive unit disappears elegantly into the crank area so it looks like a conventional bike.

High Quality Components

A nice set of Moustache own brand carbon forks on the front of the Dimanche 28 Road 4 are just the job. They’re light yet robust enough for the rigours of road riding. Furthermore, a fine set of SRAM Apex hydraulic disc brakes tame the bike when required and act responsively and effectively.

A great set of Schwalbe Pro One SuperRace tyres ensure low rolling resistance and optimise treadwear and traction. They sit on Moustache’s own brand rims which are both durable and light.

The Bosch CompactTube 400Wh battery integrates seamlessly within the frame producing a bike that’s barely recognisable as an ebike.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
