New Electronic Rohloff E-14 Shifting System

The new E-14 from Rohloff synchronises perfectly with the Bosch eBike system.

One push of a button is all it takes to automatically reduce motor force upon the transmission and shift the SPEEDHUB. Furthermore, of the button is held down, the E-14 shifting system will shift 3-gears at a time in sequence, through all 14 gears if so desired. In addition, once the sensors note the cyclist has become stationary, the E-14 system will automatically shift to a pre-programmed gear to start off again.

For even further range, the Homage4 GT Vario can accept a second 625Wh battery!

Built to last, the Homage4 is a sturdy and strong performer. Its highly durable Schwalbe Rock Razor 60-584 tyres adorn Rodi Tryp35 27,5″″ rims for superb handling over all types of terrain.

High Quality Components

This fully kitted electric bike uses high illumination Supernova M99 lamps on the front and rear. In addition, security is via an anti-theft ABUS Bordo Plus Alarm lock, using the same key as the battery pack. Strong braking is provided via Magura MT4 hydraulic discs, effective and responsive.

In addition, a plethora of display options from Bosch are available, including the new Nyon unit.

Homage4 GT Rohloff: A Full Suspension Step Through

The Homage4 GT Rohloff’s front suspension comes as standard with SR Suntour Mobie 34’s. Furthermore, these high performance forks give 100 mm travel with air shock and full lockout. The rear shock is a Suntour RS-19. This is fully adjustable to match the needs of any terrain, and provides an ultra comfortable ride.

A powerful Bosch Performance CX (Gen4) motor and huge 625Wh fully integrated battery as standard round off what is a truly comfortable and accommodating ride.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?
