Riese & Müller Nevo4 GT Vario

The Nevo4 GT Vario from Riese & Müller is a powerful, beautifully geared, simple and easy to use touring e-bike with a unique and unobtrusive battery position. It comes in two wheel size options, 26″ and 27.5″.

The 26″ variant of the Nevo4 on a 43cm frame is an absolute delight. It has such a low step through height and is ideal for even the smallest rider. The unique battery position on the downtube allows a far greater clearance together with a more even weight distribution. The forward position of the battery means less on the rear, and a more nimble experience for many. Additionally, the slightly larger wheel size of 27.5″ provides even greater stability and performance on less forgiving terrain.

The Nevo4 GT Vario comes equipped with Bosch’s highest torque Performance CX (Gen4) motor for immense hill-climbing capability.

The Nevo4 GT Vario boasts not only style, but the wonderful Enviolo (formerly known as NuVinci) N380 seamless hub gear for hassle-free, straightforward and endless gear options. An easy to use rotational control on the handlebar finds every gear without any fuss. A simple visual indicator shows clearly the gear status. capable of climbing the steepest of hills with ease, Enviolo gearing is a real joy to use.

Bosch’s Smart System facilitates the use of their Intuvia 100 display for all rider information.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
