The Supercharger GT Rohloff from Riese & Müller, is on of their flagship models and the Rolls Royce of electric bikes.

At the heart of this top of the range tourer is the Rohloff gearing. Its huge transmission ratio, over 520%, with 14-speed hub gears puts the Supercharger GT Rohloff in a class of its own. The Rohloff has been developed for both pros and performance oriented hobby cyclists who can appreciate it because of its reliability. Perfect single gear ratios, wide range of gears, low maintenance and easy operation. Its weight and efficiency are ideal even for pro racing. The sealed gearbox ensures reliability and durability even under the toughest conditions.

Supercharger GT Rohloff with exceptional gearing

The even increments of 13.6% between gears make it possible to ride continuously at peak performance. The overall range makes sure that you always have access to the right gear regardless of situation. Pure fun is guaranteed. Make no mistake, the Rohloff is practically bullet proof, maintenance free and represents the ultimate in gear shifting. There is no wear on the indexing system nor is there any need to adjust it.

E-14 electronic shifting now comes as standard. At the touch of a button, the Rohloff responds instantaneously with smooth, effortless shifting. Sheer luxury in itself.

Furthermore, fitted as standard is the silent and highly resilient Gates carbon drive belt for even greater luxury.

2 x 500Wh Bosch PowerTubes as Standard

The GX Rohloff version of the Supercharger is one of several in Riese & Müller’s range. Each one features stunning new technology and unique design. Supercharger comes as standard with 2 x 500Wh Bosch PowerTubes. Both are beautifully and cleverly integrated into RM’s unique frame design.

Riese & Müller is doubling the range of its electric bikes with dual battery technology. The Supercharger has the ability to charge both batteries at the same time. In addition, the two batteries ‘flip-flop’ in delivering power to the bike, so each discharges equally. Its dual battery technology puts Riese & Müller at the top of its class in terms of riding range.

Also available is a battery upgrade to 1250Wh!

Bosch Performance CX (Gen4) motor 85Nm

Most striking is its multi-award-winning design, followed by its athletic features. The Supercharger models are like a six-pack cast in aluminium. A precisely-conceived geometry guarantee the ultimate in riding comfort. The Bosch Performance CX (Gen4) drive delivers above and beyond with its high torque. With 2 x 500Wh batteries as standard, the Supercharger GT Rohloff simply keeps on going. With its tremendous, high-torque driving force the CX motor is capable of conquering any mountain and terrain.

The Supercharger GT Rohloff comes with some nifty anti-theft features too. An ABUS Bordo Plus wheel lock mounted beneath the top tube prevents opportunistic theft. Both the ABUS and battery lock share the same key, which means you only need one key to do both jobs.

In addition, pleasing aesthetics are maintained via hidden cable runs under the top tube and through the frame. Furthermore, a Cane Creek Thudbuster ST suspension seatpost ensures ultra rider comfort. A set of Busch & Müller high intensity lamps front and rear ensure rider visibility at all times.

Multiple Options

Available in TWO colours, Curry Matt or Warm Silver Matt the Supercharger GT Touring offers many different specification options. Worthy of note is the ‘GX’ option which transforms its already multi-terrain ability into an even more gutsy performer. Schwalbe Johnny Watts tyres allow even more off road ability. Centrally flat studding on the tyre facilitates a low rolling resistance on the flat. For more demanding terrain, shoulder studs on the outer edge guarantee exceptional grip, especially when cornering.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
