Pedal faster, pick up speed even faster: The Performance Line SX works at least as hard as you do. It has a reduced pedal resistance of more than 50 percent compared to the Performance Line CX, a narrower design of the cranks and an almost silent motor.

At around just 2kg, the Performance Line SX is Bosch’s lightest drive with the highest power density. It reduces the total weight of your eBike, delivers greater agility and is ideal for fans of a sporty riding style. In addition, the compact drive unit disappears elegantly into the crank area so it looks like a conventional bike.

Gates Carbon Belt

The SCOTT Passage 10 Belt features the world renowned Gates Carbon Belt. The only maintenance is a light brushing now and again, but absolutely zero oiling. Also, it’s as tough as anything and doesn’t break or stretch like a conventional chain.

Hub Gearing

Featuring a quiet and smooth changing Nexus 8-speed hub, the Passage 10 Belt offers a luxurious ride at all times. In combination with the Gates Carbon Belt, the Passage 10 shifts effortlessly and silently without any fuss or hassle. The Alfine shifters ensure precise gear changes that are both responsive and clean.

Suspension is via a pair of SR Suntour NRX32-E Air forks with remote lockout that cope admirably with all those bumps and hollows. The ride is ultra comfortable, yet sporty.

Designed with the rigours of day to day use, the Passage bikes come fully equipped. Front and rear mudguards ensure a clean arrival. Furthermore, the rear carrier is capable of carrying more than ample loads. It uses a click system for easy on and off attachment of luggage. Hassle free, with no awkward clips or Velcro requiring fastening.

The Purion 200 colour display with walk assist function is mounted unobtrusively to the side of the bars, providing all rider information. In addition, Schwalbe G-One Overland 365 Performance tyres set on a robust set of Syncros rims ensure a good level of puncture resistance. The addition of a very comfy Syncros Capilano saddle ensures the Passage is an extremely comfortable ride.

Strong lights in the form of a Lezyne Fusion E550SM on the front and a Supernova TL3Z on the rear ensure visibility at all times.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
