MERIDA eONE-Eighty 900
The MERIDA eONE-Eighty 900 is Merida’s top of the range 180mm travel eMTB and sports exceptional componentry.
It offers extremely high quality forks, rear shock, brakes and gearing.
The eOne-Eighty is for the heavy hitters, bike park senders and big mountain brawlers. It’s ready to ride the biggest lines and burliest tracks and you can say goodbye to waiting in the uplift queue because it can rip and repeat all day long thanks to a 800Wh battery and 85Nm of Bosch CX power. Furthermore, the battery is removeable for easy charging off the bike. It’s MERIDA’s longest travel e-bike ever, with 180mm of suspension at either end on a robust aluminium frame. Add coil shock compatibility, mullet only setup plus a whole host of other features and getting rowdy is where the eOne-Eighty starts, not finishes.
There’s a serious amount of range on offer too, thanks to the new 800Wh battery and the option to add a 250Wh Bosch range extender. You can easily remove the battery for off-bike charging or replacement on a really big ride.
Bosch’s Purion 400 display sits unobtrusively adjacent to the stem and provides all necessary rider information, clearly and concisely. The Bosch Mini Remote on the left of the bars allows easy access to all functions at the press of a button.

Perfect Balance, Extraordinary Performance, Great Components
The Rockshox Zeb Ultimate eMTB Air forks elevate the ride to another level. Perfectly balanced, they gobble up anything thrown in front of them. Offering a huge 180mm of travel, the Zeb’s are a very high quality fork with superb and dynamic performance. On the rear is a very nice Rock Shox Vivid Ultimate shock. It’s big, bold, and built for pure downhill performance. What’s more, it has unmatched tunability and damping for total confidence in every aspect of technical terrain.
Gearing on the MERIDA eONE-Eighty 900 is enviably sweet. A Shimano XT Linkglide 11-speed and wide range 11-50T cassette work in perfect harmony. A robust yet lightweight DT Swiss HF1700 tubeless ready wheelset prove tough, stable and reliable. Maxxis Assegai 29×2.5″ tyres are on the front, whilst the rear is taken care of by a Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5×2.4″. Consequently, the result is superb maneuverability and grip, all in one. Silky smooth DT Swiss HF 1700 hubs finish off a very high performing wheelset. Braking is highly effective, thanks to a fine set of Shimano XT 4-piston hydraulics, front and rear. They’re hugely responsive and offer both powerful and controllable braking. Furthermore, the eONE-Eighty 900 comes with Shimano RT64 rotors, being 220mm on the front and 200mm on the rear.
Unlike many eMTBs, the MERIDA eONE-Eighty 900 comes with lights on both front and rear. Worthy of note is a strong Lezyne Fusion lamp on the front which easily illuminates the path ahead in low light conditions.
A Merida TEAM TR II dropper offers up 30-230mm travel dropper seatpost operates smoothly and precisely.
Enviable Aesthetics, Smooth Lines
Both the aesthetics and specification of the MERIDA eONE-Eighty 900 are enviable.
This is one seriously good looking eMTB, and an outstanding performer! Internal cable routing has been perfected thanks to Merida’s ‘Smart Entry’ approach. Cables are routed internally, with clamping under tension. There’s no rattles or noise!
As a result, Merida have produced a near silent performer that offers huge appeal with looks to die for. That’s the MERIDA eONE-Eighty 900.
