The Riese and Muller Multitinker Vario is a 20″ wheel eBike that’s the ideal car replacement in the city!

This awesome and fresh design eBike is capable of transporting two children, a large weekly shop or goods of all kinds safely and effortlessly. The low centre of gravity ensures stable riding behaviour, while the compact length saves space.

Power delivery is via the Bosch Smart System Performance CX 85Nm motor coupling with a long range 625Wh battery. In addition, an Intuvia 100 display comes as standard, upgradable to the Kiox 300. Strong and responsive hydraulic Magura brakes ensure excellent and progressive stopping power.

A fine set of Suntour Mobie 34 CGO air forks with 80mm of travel ensure a smooth and comfortable ride at all times.

As the name suggests, the Multitinker Vario boasts the wonderful N380 seamless Enviolo (formerly known as NuVinci) hub. The gearing provides easy, simple and endless gear options. Furthermore, fitted as standard is the silent and bomb-proof Gates carbon drive belt for even greater luxury.

Safely carry up to two children or a larger passenger weighing up to 65 kg on the back of the Multitinker. The bipod stand ensures a firm and stable base for mounting and dismounting.

Safety Bar Kit

The innovative Multitinker Vario can carry children from 1 to 7 years of age with a high level of protection thanks to an optional Safety Bar Kit. This comprises a safety bar, comfortable foam seat and spoke guard. In addition, it can be used in conjunction with a suitable child seat.

A sturdy outer bar protects up to two children aged 1 to 7 years that can be transported on the carrier in conjunction with a child seat (DIN EN 14344 / ASTM F1625). In this case, the rear child seat has a maximum load capacity of 10 kg. A second bar can be held on to, so that the children’s hands and arms remain safely inside. The spoke guard prevents accidental contact between the spokes and cargo or fastening straps, while the standard sideloader acts as a footrest.

If the weight rating of the carrier (max. 65 kg) is not exceeded, a child in a child seat (DIN EN 14344 / ASTM F1625) can be carried along with a passenger aged 7 years or older. In this case, the child seat has a maximum load capacity of 10 kg and needs to fit in the rear position.

Passenger Kit

The optional Passenger kit, with its comfortable foam seat, spoke guard and handle, ensures comfortable seating for children aged 7 or older.

A foam seat and handles make the Multitinker a comfortable electric taxi for one passenger aged 7 years or older and weighing up to 65 kg. Cargo bags

Optional cargo bags are available, each with a volume of 42 litres. They attach both safely and securely to the carrier, but can be easily removed without the use of tools. Ideal for those shopping trips!

The Multitinker Vario offers many different specification options.

For example, the Multitinker Vario comes with a set of Schwalbe Moto-X tyres. It’s a great option for the needs of most riders. However, for even greater traction off road the GX option offers the Schwalbe Smart Sam Plus tyre. It’s perfect for more demanding terrain. The SnakeSkin side wall of the Smart Sam Plus guarantees exceptional grip especially when cornering. In addition, a 3mm protective cover around the inner tube provides extra-secure puncture resistance.

How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
