The Tinker2 Vario is a 20″ wheel compact bike with folding handlebars, designed for flexible urban mobility, or equally at home on the boat, caravan or motorhome.

Now featuring the Bosch Smart System and 545Wh battery for even greater range.

As the name suggests, the Tinker2 Vario boasts the wonderful N380 seamless Enviolo (formerly known as NuVinci) hub. The gearing provides easy, simple and endless gear options. Furthermore, fitted as standard is the silent and bomb-proof Gates carbon drive belt for even greater luxury.

545Wh Battery as Standard

It’s unique design means that the Tinker2 Vario’s handlebars easily and effortlessly fold down flat and in the same plane as the bike itself. Worthy of note is that the handlebars have 3-positions to accommodate the differing reach of our arms. Thanks to the angle and height-adjustable stem as well as the very long seat post, the Tinker2 Vario is highly adaptable to suit different height and comfort requirements. This makes it the perfect partner and family bike. It suits riders from 1.50m to 1.95m.

The Tinker2 Vario is powered by Bosch’s high torque Performance 75Nm motor, delivering immense power and capability. Coupled with a long range 545Wh battery as standard, the Tinker2 is capable of immense range. Gearing is delivered smoothly and maintenance free via the world renowned Enviolo 380 Hub. Disc brakes make this little beauty stop when needed, whilst its delightful aesthetics are sure to please.

Additional features include strong Supernova lighting on the front and Busch & Müller on the rear. An ABUS wheel lock prevents impulsive theft. The Racktime ‘Snap-it’ system rear carrier provides for easy on and off luggage. The Bosch Purion 200 colour co-ordinated display mounts centrally on the bars and provides all necessary rider information.

Available in two colours; matt black or the stunning crystal white. The Tinker2 Vario is the perfect electric bike with a multitude of uses, due to its portable nature. How do I measure my height?

With your shoes off, stand upright against a wall, with your shoulders back and legs together. Use a pencil to make a small mark on the wall above your head (make sure you hold the pencil parallel to the floor). Then measure from the floor to your mark, in centimetres or feet and inches.

How do I measure my inside leg length?

With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the floor to the top of the book/ruler, in centimetres or feet and inches (it’s easier if a friend helps).

Q & A

Do all brands of ebike use the same unit of measurement?

No. Most brands show sizing in centimetres, however some use a S/M/L system, and others use inches. The table above includes all of these variations to help you find the right size.

Which size should I go for if I'm in between those listed?

If your measurements suggest that you have a choice of two different sizes, then in the end it’s a personal choice. Here are some rules of thumb to consider: Touring/Trekking ebikes - choose the smaller size. It is possible to make a smaller frame bigger (for example, by raising the saddle or fitting a longer the stem), whereas if the frame itself is too big for you, it’s likely to be less comfortable and won't feel right. eMTBs - choose the larger size. You’ll find an eMTB with a slightly larger frame easier to handle than one that feels cramped. You can always fit a shorter stem if necessary to reduce the reach to the handlebars.

How are ebike frame sizes measured?

An electric bike’s frame size is calculated by measuring the distance from the top of the seat tube (where the seat post inserts), to the centre of the front chainring. Sizing Guide
