The Riese & Müller Tinker Vario is a very unique ebike in many ways, that we felt it deserves a special mention all on its own!
It’s a hugely popular 20″ wheel ebike and rightly so.
Primarily, the Tinker is a partial folder. It folds only at the handlebar stem reducing the height of the bike and narrowing it. This is turn facilitates a far easier means of stowage, be it in a motorhome, caravan or boat.
Available in THREE very nicely done colour options, the Riese & Müller Tinker Vario has a number of other key features:
- Gates Carbon Belt
- Bosch Performance CX drive (75Nm)
- Enviolo N380, continuous hub gear
- 3-position handlebar stem
- Disc brakes
- Front suspension
Tinker Vario – Key Features
Gates Carbon Belt
No more messy chains! This highly durable belt is quiet and resistant to stretch. There’s no oiling required, simply brush off any dirt and you’re done!
Bosch Performance CX drive (75Nm)
With Bosch’s strongest 75Nm motor, the Performance CX, there’s no stopping the Tinker on any hill!
Enviolo N380, continuous hub gear
This is where the real magic happens. A seamless, wide ranging gear system that uses a simple twist shifter on the handlebars. There’s no gear indexing, so no first, second, etc. gear changing is super smooth and effortless.
In addition, there’s a very simple visual indicator on the bars that tells you if you’re in the low or high gears.
3-position handlebar stem
Thanks to a 3-position handlebar stem, the Tinker adjusts to suit every rider. Reach is easily to change and takes seconds.
Disc brakes & front suspension
Not every folding bike has front suspension. In fact it’s a luxury! Thankfully, theRiese & Müller Tinker Vario is designed not just for portability, but comfort and safety too.
A nice set of Shimano disc brakes offer effective and progressive breaking when needed.
All in all, we love the Tinker Vario with its superb performance and flexible nature!
